The truck concrete driver plays a critical role in our operations, responsible for safely and efficiently delivering ready-mix concrete to various local locations.
As a driver, you will have the following responsibilities and duties:
- Safely delivering concrete to various locations
- Maintaining a proper speed, following distance, and being aware of hazards while driving
- Keeping accurate driver logs and time-cards
- Conducting daily vehicle safety inspections to ensure equipment is safe to operate
- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of your truck
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and requirements:
- A valid Class A or B commercial driver's license
- A clear driving record with no reckless driving offenses, DUIs, or accidents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- No more than 1.5 active points in the last 36 months
- Physical ability to work from elevated platforms, climb ladders, and lift up to 25lbs
